Urban History Association Conference

by Carolyn Ristau

I plan to return to new content next week. This week, I am attending the Urban History Association’s Conference in Pittsburgh. This is my first event with this organization and so far, it’s been a great opportunity to discuss urban spaces, zoning, historic preservation, racial and economic inequities, and findings of unexpected opportunities for traditionally disadvantaged people with others fascinated by these topics.
